Dr Iram Amin
FACULTY
Iram Amin has completed her M.Sc in Biochemistry form University of the Punjab, MS in Biotechnology from Lahore College for Women University, Lahore and Ph.D in Molecular Biology and Forensic Sciences from University of the Punjab, Lahore. Dr. Iram Amin has joined CEMB, Virology Group in 2007 as Research Officer cum Lecturer.
Dr. Iram Amin has worked on many different projects and studies on viruses like Hepatitis B, C, D and Dengue Virus and Currently working on HIV project. She has published many articles in National and International, peer reviewed journals and won the Research Publication Incentive Awards from 2016 to 2020 and also a performance evaluation award in year 2017 from University of the Punjab. During her Ph.D. She has also been selected for International Research Support Program (IRSIP) by HEC-Pakistan in year 2019 for training in CDC-USA.
The major Research interest of Dr. Iram Amin are studies of different Virus particularly, Host-Virus interaction, Genome wide studies, Molecular Diagnostic, Epidemiology and Assay development for virus detection and its Genotyping.
