October 12, 2026: A meeting of the Board of Governors (BoG) of the Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB), University of the Punjab, Lahore, was held today, October 12, 2026, to deliberate upon various important matters concerning the Centre.
Among other agenda items, the Board approved the budget of CEMB for the financial year 2026–27, paving the way for the Centre to continue its academic, research, and institutional development activities.
During the meeting, the Board members collectively appreciated the overall progress and achievements of the Centre in its various domains. The house acknowledged the Centre’s continued efforts towards strengthening research, expanding scientific activities, and enhancing institutional performance.
The Board encouraged the Centre’s management to maintain the positive momentum, continue their dedicated efforts, and build upon the progress achieved for further institutional growth and excellence.
